Why don't you try TripAdvisor or just Google 'Oslo'?

This is a West Ham fan website.

There is a nice restaurant called 'Asia' on the Aker Brygge.

Stay in 'The Thief' hotel.

Get the train from the airport instead of a taxi.

Take loads of NOK's, you'll need them!

Which weekend are you coming, bubble?

Name a few of your favourite bands.

Which kind of places and neighbourhoods and shopping areas would you suggest for visitors in London?

Got to know what kind of specimens you two are before I can reccommend.

Do: Visit the Vigeland Sculpture Park. The pictures don't do it justice: http://tinyurl.com/jpq6sud

Don't: Be tempted into a lifetime of heroin fuelled degradation, courtesy of the army of junkies and smack dealers that infest Oslo like rats.

Or. You could swap those around. Whatever floats your boat, really

Stranded, the junkies have been moved away from the town centre. Not a big deal anymore tbh

KD. It's been a few years since I was there, so I could well be behind the times. Is needle park still there?

Do: Greet all strangers with a friendly smile and firm handshake.

Don't: Walk into the nearest police station, drop your trousers and do a great big dump on the floor before proceeding to roll around in said dump like an overexcited pig.

No, it's under construction to make a park to revamp the area between the railway station and the operahouse.

Re: Recommendations of things to do and not do in Oslo?
Okay. That was one of the worst bits when I was visiting Oslo regularly. All around the station, the roads off it etc. I stayed in a few of those big hotels around the station.

One visit, I couldn't understand why nobody entered the street the hotel I'd booked into was on. It was just empty all evening. Then as the evening wore on, junkies started arriving and filling up all the doorways. Turned out the hotel was directly opposite a place that handed out clean needles every morning.

Yeah, it was a big problem a year or three back.

Don't expect any manners off of any of the male specimens you come across, they don't understand them.

I quite liked the Viking museum and as stated, vigeland park is the bollocks though helps if the sun's shining.
